Persona Unleashed(Light Attack)

One of two aircraft flown by Ira Gamagori, the F/A-5E is a modified RA-5C, acquired from Davis-Monthan AFB in Arizona. This particular aircraft was rotting in the hot, unforgiving desert, only to be saved when Shiro Iori had it secretly shipped to Japan via people on the inside serving in the USAF. The aircraft went through a full refit and overhaul, improvements included the strengthening of it's wings and fuselage. Weapons such as 2 Heavy Laser Cannons and the ability to carry 10 AIM-120D AMRAAMs meant this bird was heavily armed, though Gamagori referred to it as a "Light-Attack" aircraft. The Vigilante also gained light-weight, hardened life-fiber armor plating, making it extremely durable. For Gamagori, this is his "dogfighting" plane. Another aircraft, a modified C-17 cargo plane, is in the works. Humorously, like Gamagori himself, the F/A-5E is a large aircraft, dwarfing the YF-23, F-15J Kai Plus, and Su-37BM flown by his fellow squadmates.
